Sheneka Brown has been an educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for the past 12 years.  She possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Education degree in Reading, and has credits towards her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership (Grades K-12). She is the proud mother of two boys and a radio host on the Stellar award winning gospel radio station - WMBM 1490 AM. 

 

In addition, Sheneka Brown is the author of two books, “Dear Little Brown Boy: My Time Travel Adventures" and  "Dear Little Brown Girl: My Travels Around the World." Her book, "Dear Little Brown Girl: My Travels Around the World" has been endorsed by multiple NFL Players such as NFL Hall of Fame player- Edgerrin James (Indianapolis Colts), Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts), Tony Carter (Denver Broncos), Frostee Rucker (Oakland Raiders), Kevin Burnett (Dallas Cowboys), Janoris Jenkins (New York Giants), and Raymond Griffin, Sr. In addition, Sheneka Brown has been featured on NBC, Aspire TV, Stellar awarding winning gospel station -WMBM 1490 AM, iHeart Radio, and M.I.A Magazine. Her book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart.com, and everywhere books are sold.  

 

Moreover, Sheneka Brown has won numerous awards. She is the 2021 "Teacher of the Year" for her school. She was also nominated for the 2018 Jim Moran's African American Achiever's Award for her service in Education. Additionally, Ms. Brown was the 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year, 2012-2013 Rookie Teacher of the Year for MDCPS as well as the 2014 Star Educator of the Year from Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Inc. Ms. Brown also appeared on the hit television game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” in 2012 to represent teachers across America. She is the President and Founder of "Books of Knowledge, LLC." Lastly, Ms. Brown is a licensed and ordained minister under the leadership of Apostle Dasha and Prophetess Takela Johnson. Her greatest passion and purpose is educating women and children to become the best version of themselves.
